Talking Gap year

I am currently finishing my A-level exams and hope to apply for sponsorship during my gap year. My first choice for degree is Air Transport Management at Loughborough if I don't get sponsorship straight away.

I have recently completed my QXC and hope to complete my PPL in the next month. Does anyone have any ideas for jobs during the gap year which would be beneficial for eventual sponsorship by airlines?

Check out the BA site, there are various work expeience opportunities in different departments of the company.
Also, check out www.yini.org.uk (i think) if you are into engineering of any sort. This is a fantastic scheme where you get to work as an engineer and be payed for a year before Uni.
Although I'm not sure whether it is a bit late for you to apply.

Anyway, good luck in whatever you do, and if you want to e-mail me in future to tell me what you eventually did, feel free, as I would appreciate some info

Regards
Mike
