How long to complete CPL/IR?
Quick and easy questions to answer:
Approx how long does it take to complete the CPL course? (ie the flying training once ATPLs are nailed) 4-5 weeks?
Approx how long does it take to complete the IR course? 2 weeks?
Just putting together my timescales for finishing the training.
TIA

5 weeks for CPL
6-8 weeks for IR
Add approx 6 weeks for crappy North European weather.
The weather is the most significant factor in CPL training, what ever you plan it will take longer and cost more than you ever thought possible, add approx 30% to any timescale/budget and you should be in the right sort of ballpark.

Depends on your experience and ability, obviously, but also where you are doing it. Minimum time for experienced service pilots is about 2 weeks CPL, 3 weeks IR. If you have less than 2000 hours, I guess you will have to factor that up depending on how current you are.

Been working my CPL/Multi/IR since early March 2002
Passed the CPL/Multi ride in Mid-April
Aiming for IR ride by late June
That was flying one or two slots a day, 4 or 5 days a week initially (with the usual weather aborts) but now slowing down to weekends and evenings due to having to work again
Suppose you could do it a lot faster if you went head down full time. Depends on your mental capacity / fatigue limits, weather, cash flow and all that stuff
