MPL or ATPL Integrated
Hi,
I currently have a PPL along with my Night Rating, IMC and around 100 hours. I had planned on doing my training through the modular route, however I feel the integrated course may be the best option.
I was wondering if the MPL with the likes of Easyjet would be the better course to apply for or the full ATPL integrated?
How does the ATPL course work regarding my experience i.e reduction in cost and duration?
Thanks.

As far as I know, the ATO can reward you a small reduction for having a PPL. I'm not aware that having more hours above a PPL can be counted towards further reductions.
Self sponsored integrated is (IMO, but I'm not alone) an expensive way to be in the exact same position as doing things the modular way.
Part sponsored ATPL or MPL will be the better option in terms of jobs etc, but having already spent so much (probably close to £20k?) you have to ask if it would not be better to complete your training in the modular way, which could cost £20k or maybe less if you are smart about it, compared to getting a (from memory) 25 hour reduction on an integrated course and it still costing you probably over £70k.

On an ATPL integrated course the holder of a PPL(A) with night rating may be credited with 50% of his/her flight time up to a maximum of 45 hours of which up to 20 hours may count towards the requirement for dual instructional flight time.
There is no credit available towards the MPL course
