ICAO ALTP to EASA

Good day everyone,
Has anybody recently converted an ICAO ALTP to an EASA?
I have come across so many conflicting requirements, even from from some UK/EU schools.
I have 12000hrs, of which 7000 multi crew 737-800.
I live and fly in South Africa so hoping to do self study from here.
I would be most appreciative for any info.

Many many thanks, and safe landings.
