Cambridge (I got this one, first time). .Birmingham (Second attempt passed). .Brize Norton (Seldom used). .East Mids. .Coventry. .Luton (seldom used these days)

You will normally do the ILS go-around at one of the above and then return to cranfield for the hold etc. On occasions however a composite route is given, ie Coventry - Cambridge.

Hope this helps. More info available if required.

I got Cranfield to Coventry, where I did the procedural ILS and single engine go-around then back to the CIT at Cranfield for a hold and NDB procedure for a circle to land. . .East Mids was a frequent one to get when I was there and Birmingham one of the favourites by the Students as it was all radar vectors to intercept the ILS.. .I also seem to remember that Brize Norton to Gloucester was the least favourite route.. .Hope this helps, if more info needed e-mail me.. .Rgds Bokkie449

East Midlands is quite common now, you might well get vectors for the ILS as they don't really want a/c self positioning.. .Cambridge or Coventry are still active routes.. .BHX and LTN don't really like training a/c any more.. .Most holds are at CAM,COV or CFD.. .Good luck
