Waiting list to start ATPL training?

Hello,

Please could you tell me how long you have to wait before starting ATPL training? (i.e. do you have to be planning 12 months in advance or can you pretty much pay your check and turn up at the next start date?)

Full-time ground school or distance learning?

Distance learning is pretty much a case of paying up, getting access to all of the material, and then book yourself in to the brush-up weeks once you're ready.

Full-time ground school will have particular start dates to adhere to, but in the current market I cannot imagine many companies will be fully booked enough that you'd have to plan 12 months ahead.

I wonder if he is referring to an integrated course of sorts as opposed to just the theory, in which case it really does depend on the school and requires much the same answer anyway, ask them.
