Advice on becoming a pilot

Hi there,

I am interested in becoming a pilot, i fly Microsoft FSX all the time and can fly these to a basic take off and land.

How long does it take to train to be a pilot?

Once you have you licence how do you find a job? Is there a job paper for pilots?

I currently work as a janitor in my local mall, but i recently got a promotion to senior so can start to save some serious cash.
