For bush flying, you'll want to get your CPL and float rating as a bare minimum. Seeing as you're just at the PPL stage it might be worth doing a 50 hour float course while building time to your 200 hours. You don't really need an instrument rating straight away as most bush flying in Canada is VFR. After you get your ratings you'll have to move up north and likely work for a season on the dock or ramp before they'll let you lose on their equipment. Most newly qualified pilots go on a road trip and keep bugging float operators until they finally get to the right place at the right time.

Yellowknife is rumoured to be a good place to start as a couple of operators up there (Air Tindi and Buffalo Airways) have been known to throw fresh CPLs into the right seat after a time on the ramp/dock.
Good luck!
