Preparation Before Integrated
Hi chaps/esses,
My course is due to start in November and I'm looking to get a little bit of prep done to make the 6 months of GS a little easier
Have got my hands on a full set of ATPL books from a friend so am wondering if in your experience it is worth having a read through?. Short of sleeping and drinking too much (just left school) I'm not doing much so personally feel it would be good for me.
Anyways, thanks again folks

Get yourself a bristol question bank subscription! Lol kidding however that will come as a very big aid when preparing for your atpl exams!
In terms of preparation I would suggest getting used to basic maths equations etc if you aren't already too familiar with them, with regards to the actual learning you'll be taught intensely by your school so don't worry on that front!
It will all seem very daunting when you start as it will feel that you have been thrown in the deep end straight away but it all starts to come together with time!
Hope that helps and good luck!

Get yourself a copy of Ernest K Gann's "Fate is the Hunter". Its not prep as such, but it is a fascinating read about the sort of issues pilots can face in the course of their career, and there's plenty to glean from it. This would be an ideal opportunity - you will have plenty of other materials - some more stimulating than others - to read when your course begins.
Good luck.
Good luck.
