Talking You say Astraeus, I say Astreaus

Hope you've all filled in the online application form, this looks like an excellent opportunity.

Just one question though, why has the website address got the name spelt wrongly? I see that Jonothan Hinkles has bought www.astraeus.co.uk, so why are they using www.astreaus.co.uk?

Good luck to all

To ensure that even our slightly dyslexic customers and friends can find the site as well.

Most site owners register variations of their name ad link to the main site.

Well spotted Pilot Pete. .A quick check online to Companies House, gives ATRAEUS Limited No 4142800, with a director J P Hinkles. .Perhaps Capt PPRuNe can confirm that only those who can spell, get selected, with or without a current IR

Spelling has come up quite alot recently. But when the Astraeus application info talks specifically about applicants taking steps to get theirs correct, you would expect Astraeus to be beyond reproach! On the app form is written 'License' for a noun (the word is spelt with an 's' only when used as a verb -in English Engish, that is) and 'submittion'??! What the hell's that?

Anybody find anymore?

Cool

It's all a conspiracy. We are trying to flush out pedants and nit-pickers. See... it works!

I thought the website was actually at www.flyastraeus.com
