CTC - Sim trials

Does anyone know if CTC have the full-motion going during their sim trials? (for assessment tests)

And what are you asked to do - take-off, land, bank etc etc.

Also, is the dress code formal or informal?

Thanking you in advance.

If you're referring to a sim assessment, your information is out of date as CTC stopped 'Stage 3' of the wings assessment (the simulator detail) nearly 4 years ago.

It was stage 4 not 3. It was basic stuff (climbs, turns at different rates finishing with an ILS which is talked through) with questions asked by the instructor to distract and stretch your capacity. Defo not doing that anymore though.

Thanks guys, I'm glad they've taken that out. That makes me feel a lot better.

Yeah, I always thought it was a little unnecessary to test ones flying skills when going for a pilot position.

They haven't been doing sim trials for a good few years, might be worth doing a bit more research about the company before you turn up for the interview!
