Hour building in a C42

Good afternoon all!

Would it be possible to do CPL hour building in a C42?

Ikarus C42 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I would say not, as it is classed as a microlight.

Any definitive information from people in the know?

It's a microlight, so would not count towards an EASA CPL.

A permit to fly aircraft, for example the sports cruiser or Europa would do the job. I can't find the reference, but I believe you need a MTOW around 560Kg?

Also note that any microlight time would not count towards any other EASA licence requirements, such as 1500 TT for ATPL issue.
