EASA/JAA medical renewal in US
Hello. I have JAA issued 1st class medical (which is 2nd class now). It was issued in Norway.
Do you guys know if I can renew it in US (Florida) and will CAA accept it?
Thank you very much!

Hyperthetically yes - however the only real answer you can get is from the Norwegian authorities.
The medical examiner is Florida at Ormomd Beach Florida Eye Doctors / Daytona Beach Florida Ophthalmologist / International Eye Associates / (386) 673-3939 is a UK AME which means he is fully EASA.
Norway hasn't implemented EASA yet.
Be aware that the AME tends to book around 1-2 months in advance.

So what does it mean for me?
When I got my medical, it was still JAA. Will I be able to renew it in UK/US with those guys? Or do I have to obtain a new one under EASA rules and basically if I renew mine in Norway, it is useless with CAA?
