Question Autumn recruitment

I am an ex oz military QFI (just completed the JAR process)who has recently applied to several airlines. In general the reply has been thanks for the letter we have put you on file and will be recruiting in autumn. Is this the standard reply or a polite way to get rid of me. If this is a good sign when does the autumn recruitment start??

VS..
I am currently employed in a Schedule Airline, but have also applied recently to a few Charter operators. Generally speaking in the UK recruitment for Charters commences around now (June at the earliest) through to the end of the year for courses in the winter months. Your reply was pretty standard and doesn't necessarily mean a fob off. Best of luck.
