SF,

You beat me to it - My all-time, number 1, most badly wanted ambition is to fly a space shuttle

And I wouldn't accept anything less than the commander's seat. What do you reckon - In an alternate universe?!?!

Only thing is though I wouldn't want to end up a Challengeresque firework over the Atlantic...

Happy orbiting,

At this point in time, almost anything would do. In Fantasy-land however, The number 1, all-time top fantasyplane has to be the Tomcat. Closely followed by F-15, F16 and F-18. Hubba Hubba!!!!

Did you know that there is a CD called Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters by Bob(Robert) Calvert. Its all about the F104G, G for Germany. It is a rather irreverend look at aircraft sales. Mind you the music might not be your cup of tea!

Wannabee, SU27/30MKI! WHOAAA! Now you're talkin'! Superb aircraft! I'd love to fly the S-37 (fwd swept wing). I fly it on X-plane, a PC based flight sim. Great aircraft! V22 Osprey, anytime (as soon as they get it going a bit safer...

It would have to be a Herc.
With a P-51 Mustang to race with (tuned up of course) at weekends.

Altenatively: the Millenium Falcon, fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy

I'd have to go for F15-E, Concorde, B747-400 (or perhaps -200) and the B777 for the big planes and maybe a Me109 or Spitfire in the spare time. The again, a DH Moth could be fun.....
