Best way to get a recommendation?

Hi all - this may be old ground on the forum, but does anybody know the best CPL school in the UK if I want to maximise my chances of getting a school recommendation for an airline job as soon as I finish?
I guess Oxford has the best brand, but I wonder if it has the best relationship with the airlines. I am just about to start my modular ground with OATS and was wondering whether to take advandtage of their £1500 saving an do the flying with them too.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Oxford is the daddy for recommendations but I am sure a few of the lesser mortal FTOs have a relationship of some sort with an airline or two.
Most schools will reel off a load of "we know xxx" bull but the case with alot of FTOs (from what I have heard) is that when you've payed your dosh and have finished the course it's tat taa!
I wouldn't expect too many ex-students to come out of the woodwork and shout praise at FTOs for the assistance given in getting that first job. If you stand out during training and the FTOs has strong links with an airline, you may be recommended for an interview. Again, Oxford has to be the daddy.
VFE.
