Post JAA distance course for ATPL written tests

I need to do a JAA ATPL distance course for the written tests. I know OAT and Bristol offer such courses and was wondering if anybody had or is completing them and if so would you recommend them? Any other schools in the UK that provide distance courses and if so what is your feedback. Thanks

You could try the pilot assist college. They offer good (pooleys) distance learning course, plus full atpl training.
Check out the web site or request a brochure

Im with Bristol. They are really good. The CD rom package that comes with the course is superb. The service is good too. They mark your exams and there back with you the next day. The course notes are clear and well written, and is well structured.
I'd give 4 Forces a wide berth

Lightning Ace, thanks for the info. I've never heard of them but I will check them out.

Avrodamo, I received a nice reply from Bristol and you are confirming my instincts with them. You have also confirmed my instincts with 4 forces. They seemed very cagey almost condecending. I'm a Brit living and working as a pilot in the states. Been wanting to get back to Old Blighty for some time. I was told I have to do the whole ATP written and a couple of checkrides. So a distance course seems just the ticket. Cheers
