Uk options?

I am an aussie with a fresh CPL (with option of UK passport) who is trying to find out about flying work in the UK. What do most of the fresh CPL's do about the first job? Is work available with a bare CPL or is instructing a more popular option? Any names/web details of organisations or suitable flying schools, greatly appreciated.

An Aust CPL/IR to JAR CPL/IR with ATPL exam credits is a very expensive option. There aren't many low houred pilots over here getting a start. You would be best to build up some hours and experience before looking at the JAR. If your heart is set on it, do the ATPL subjects by correspondence/distance learning.
A rough estimate to "convert" your Aust CPL/IR over is $50,000 Aust.
Do a search in Dunnunda using my "nick" and you should find teh appropriate info.
Cheers
