Licence Validity

Hello

Just a quick question, when applying for jobs one of the questions they have asked is "when does my CPL expire?" does it expire 5 yrs from when you took your CPL skills test??? I understand about the IR, (renew it and your ATPL credits last for 7 yrs) but what about the CPL.

Can someone help on this.

Thanks

My understanding is that the CPL expires 5 years after the skills test was done.

Check LASORS to be sure:

The date of expiry should be on the licence - for a UK issued JAR-FCL CPL, it specifies the date of renewal on the licence itself.
