Instructor Rating transferable?

Hi quick question.

I have a casa cpl mecir. If I got an instructor rating in Australia is that transferable to other ICAO states when you do a license conversion in another country?

Depends which country.

Some will just sign you over, some will make you do a flight test and some the whole course.

Each case is different and it also depends on how many hours you have.

To add to what MJ said it may also matter how many flying/teaching hours you have. Contact the CAA in question and await their response, except the UK as anything they don't HAVE to deal with these days, tends to get ignored a phone call would be better to the UK CAA
