What salary can a flight instructor or fresh GA pilot expect in there first job just wondering how I'm going to support myself rent girlfriend etc.

My first FI job in a southern European country: starting pay €18/hr take home (this is flight pay or while teaching ATPL theory)
Comes out to over €2000 per month

I was pretty lucky in that my first job as a VFR single engine scenic/charter pilot I earned the equivalent of $A20,00 (at 1994 prices). Trouble is, I worked half the year.

Your girlfriend will have to find a job. Pure and simple.

Most decent charter outfits pay the award.
