Converting an FAA IR to a JAA IR

I have just done this. It was done in the UK, in my own aircraft, but I looked into various options overseas as well.

The notes on it are here.

It should be helpful to some people, I hope.

it would be more helpful if it was slimmed down to what you really need to know and thats about a tenth.

Well I could have just written that you can do it at FIS in Spain in 1 week, and you would undoubtedly agree, Chris...



But not everybody can do that route, for various reasons.
