CAA Gatwick Counter Service Criteria

Hi to license experts with CAA,

I have just passed my initial IR and a type rating renewal (over 5 years since renewed) and need to get these details onto my existing JAR ATPL. I have all the forms and course completion paperwork and logbooks ready.

I note that the CAA description of the counterservice says they will action same day type and class rating applications.

Does the IR initial and the type rating renewal (over 5 years) meet the criteria for same day service at the counter?

Thanks

Thumbs up

I can answer my own question now as I decided to just give it a go.

I was number 1 in the queue, desk opened at 0830 and I walked out with my updated licence at 0940.

Therefore you can add an initial IR and type rating renewal (over 5 yrs) using the over the counter service at CAA Gatwick FCL.

Super service, many thanks CAA.
