Thumbs up Instrument Rating - Yippee!!!

Yesterday anyone who saw me who wasn't in the know must have thought I was mad. I tried to hold normal facial expressions but everytime I relaxed a huge grin appeared. Because...

The man from the CAA said that I am good enough to add a multi-engine Instrument Rating to my shiny new CPL.

So it's time to change that profile and get those CVs fired off. I also guess I move up a rung in the wannabes stakes to 'unemployed pilot'.

Keep the faith - it is all worth it so far!

cheers!

Congratulations and good luck Foggie.

Always remember, what goes up must come down and its a b****y good landing as long as you can walk away from it!

Well done

I seem to remember you were doing it at multiflight - do you mind if I ask how long the CPL/IR took from start to finish ?

Cool

Congratulations Foghorn! Must have been in more or less minimum time, which is very commendable!!

Good luck for the first flying job whenever it comes (sooner rather than later if you keep this rate of progress up!!).

Gee thanks chaps!

For those who have followed the foghorn story, I am preparing a long post will the full version. Since posts from Pilot Pete et al. inspired me I feel it is my duty.

btw I did minimum hours (JAR) and passed the IR first time. It's taken me since late June but I've had a good three weeks off ill (more of that later).

Can I also put in a big vote of thanks to Multiflight at LBA who did me well!

cheers!
foggy.
