Difference between RNAV and GPS

Hi folks.

I ve got myself slightly confused!

1. What is the difference between an RNAV unit and a GPS TSO'd unit.

2. In terms of referring to the AIP, Is my standard IFR TSO 129 an RNAV unit or a GPS?

Any clarification would be great
