Flight training in the US

Hey guys,

I am going over to the states early next year (2012) to start my flying career.. I have some good experience flying and a few lessons done here (in ireland) enough t know its what I want to do. I have focused in on EPIC Flight Academy. has anyone done the full JAA Frozen ATPL course or even gone over to do it in stages? I was thinking of maybe going over to get the PPL then come home to do ATPLs anyone have any advice??

(I dont have to worry about J1 or that as I have a US passport)

Thanks.
