Ground Exams and April 2012

I live in the UK and my instructor has told me I need to pass all my remaining ground exams before the EASA changes take place in April 2012, otherwise the ones I have passed thus far will be void and I'll need to retake.

I've searched online and can't find any reference to this.

Is this correct?

Hi Jimbo
Are we talking PPL ground exams here? If so, maybe you're just a bit of a slacker and your instructor is trying to motivate you to get your head in the books over the winter
Seriously though, there will be some new exams issued, but I'm sure there'll be transitional arrangements in place.

If you are talking about ATPLs then yet you need to get all 14 passed by April otherwise you will need to resit some (4 or 5 I think). Not sure about PPL.
