Angel Conversion from FAA to JAA?? and ATPL(A), MCC????

Hello!!

My name is Eric and would like to request some questions regarding Frozen ATPL(A) ad MCC.

I might get a job If I have ATPL(A) and MCC.

I just got my PPL, CPL in USA and I need to have a Frozen ATPL(A) and approved MCC as well.

To be able to have a Frozen ATPL(A), do I have to Convert my license to JAA?
and If yes, How long takes to get everything done and MCC course as well....

I have very limited money and time.
When this comes to me, It confuesed me and not sure whether I should procced or not.
I guess money is always problem.

If you knom something about these, could you please give me some tips?

I will be so happy to hear any words from you.

Thank you!!

It will take you about a year and cost at least 10-15 000 Euro depending on where you do it. Plus living expenses.

Unless you have a solid job offer I would not recomend it. Not with all the thousands of unemployed fATPL holders in Europe these days.

Eric, I see you're from Korea. The JAA/EASA (or European) licence is really only applicable for European based airlines. If you do not have the right to live and work in Europe, getting a JAA licence is a huge waste of time and money.

Asian airlines are fine with the FAA licence.
