Does anybody own one of these things? Any good? Is the ruler scale 1:1 000 000?

Yep, i got one. Good instrument. There are scales 1:1000000 and 1:500000 for statute and nautical miles. No need to calculate your track. And just noticed that there's also a scale for 1:250000.
