Gyroscopes and Apparent Wander
Hi guys,
Having some trouble getting my head around Gyroscopes. Why does the apparent drift decrease to the west? and would it be correct to say that in the northern hemisphere it will be seen to rotate to anti-clockwise if flying west. As when flying east it rotates clockwise?
Won't they both be seen to rotate clockwise?
If anyone has a good link to where I can research it that would be great or if anyone could explain it. One of those situation where a teacher is worth 10 books!
