Learning to Fly in Scotland
Heyy Folks
Just wondering if anyone is a member of either the following clubs,
Glasgow Flying Club,
Prestwick Flying Club
Cumbernauld Flying School.
And could you tell me the good points or indeed bad points of the above flying establishments, And also how much is the membership fee for Glasgow Flying Club as it doesnt seem to be on the website?
Many thanks
Craig

Get yer PPL in 2wks in the US for 1/4 the price, then come back & hire aircraft from Leading Edge in What's it called? (Cumbernauld). LE also have flying schools in Perth & Inverness. GFC pricey - esp landing fees, even at the discounted club rate, but what a thrill, landing a traumahawk at Glasgow International with a 767 up yer bum!
But why are you asking this question on the Aussie & NZ forum?

Check out Leading Edge who also fly from cumbernauld. I managed to obtain my ppl at LE just over a year so that would be realistic considering the scottish weather. Obviously, the more regularly you fly the quicker it can be done.
