FAA Letter of Authenticity...
Hey,
I faxed my Letter of Authenticity off to the FAA about 5 days ago. Do they send you any confirmation they have received it or do I just have to wait up to the 90 days they state in order to hear it's been recieved by my nominated FSDO?
Also, I see the CAA require a form to be filled out confirming that my licence is legit etc. Should I fill this out now and get it sent off? I'm heading out to Chandler, AZ for hours building with a non-flying friend end of September and just want to make sure everything is in order long before we head off!
Many thanks!
Lewis

Ok so i've know noticed the word 'PRIOR' in "to complete additional forms that are required PRIOR to providing the requested information to the Airmen Certification Branch,"
x_X
What would be the procedure now then? I've filled out the forms to the CAA and i'll get them posted tomorrow morning. How do I know the both authorities will communicate with eachother? I've not gone through this before so it's all new to me and probably the first big hurdle...
