Question Time building and career change

I have my CPL (FAA) with multi engine and IR with 405 hours. I have not flown for over 8 years and looking for a career to be a professional pilot. I was looking into doing a TR with a company that will guarantee employment after. To be precise I was looking into do one of the time build program through Eagle Jet International that would give me 500 hours. Have anyone had any experience with this company? Also, does anyone think this is the right course to pursue or not? Does anyone have any recommendation? The market seems good for people with over 1000 hours and even better with 1500 hours. Please any advice I will really appreciate.

Welcome to Pprune Wannabees!

You posted a similar post in another thread and you got what is possibly the straightest answer possible. The industry is in a poor state with a large number of experienced pilots still looking for work. Some airlines still have to re-promote Captains that were demoted during the headcount reductions.
Many FTOs will tell you that now is the time to train but it is usually because they need to keep finding fresh students to keep themselves viable.
However a number of airlines are slowly starting to recruit but it is in small numbers at present.
Buying a TR and 500 hours is an emotive subject. Some see it as enhancing their CV and thus their employment prospects whilst others see it as the Devil's work.
Regardless of which view you take the subject has been 'done to death' in the forum and before we get the usual outcry I am closing the thread.

Please take a little time to read through previous posts or use the Search function to get a better insight into the problems and you could read the Eagle Jet threads!

Good luck with whatever course you take
