JAA - Multi-Engine Piston Class Rating

I am thinking of starting along the road into twin flying.
Can anyone recommend which aircraft would be best to do initial training on ?
thanks in advance.

I did mine in the US, but if I'd done it in the UK I'd do it on the new Tecnam P2006T they have at White Waltham. It's a simple Rotax-powered twin that's gotten great reviews. And it's cheap to train and has modern instrumentation.
Plus it's high wing, which obviously is superior.
