Becoming a commercial pilot.
Hi everyone I'm new 2 the site. I'm currently 22 and have been thinkin of becoming a pilot for the last 3 years. I've looked at what I would class as all the major flight schools such as Jerez Oxford and Pilot training college Ireland. I have no idea who I should go for or if I would be better off doing a modular course at a local flying school. I know of a school friend who recently completed his ATPL at Jerez and got offered a job as an F/O with BA city flyer. Is now a good time 2 train? And also what level of maths / physics kinowledge are u expected to have? I passed GCSE maths with credit but decided against sitting A level maths and I have never studied physics.
Any valid response would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Welcome to Pprune Wannabees! You will find that there are numerous experienced professional pilots who are only too pleased to help someone start climbing the ladder to becoming a professional pilot themselves.
However they do expect some effort on behalf of the poster. You obviously hadn't fully read the rules that you signed up to nor the advice in the Stickies at the head of the forum page that tell you what to do before posting.
All the questions you ask have been asked many times before - quite recently - and a little bit of personal research would not only answer your queries but give you a greater insight into the aviation industry.
To save any further bickering I am closing the thread and look forward ot reading your posts at a later date - without the 'txt spk' thank you .
