Flight training on L1 visa
I am in USA to work for US branch as an engineer.
Recently I got to want to conduct flight training for private pilot license.
I am a non US-citizen full-time worker on L1 visa and willing to attend flight school on weekend or after work.
My concern is whether it is legal for me to attend the flight training on my visa status.
I understand that people on B1/2 visa or visa waiver (basically for tourism) cannot attend the course of study.
I am afraid that my visa L1 (for work) is not good for the training.

I completed PPL training last year while on an L1. It was no trouble and I didn't even bother consulting with my immigration lawyer. When completing the online TSA approval, I recall a drop-down menu option to select L1, simple as that.
Good luck & enjoy.
