It's the chariot-of-choice for the near-defunct company. There's a reason why the airframes are cheap - astronomical maintenance and running costs. When an operator is going over to metroliners, it's invariably a sign that their days are numbered.

You could try benair in Denmark. Not sure if they still do TR's in house or whether they use another TRTO:-

Benair ask for Fairchild metroliner class rating 20.000 €, they are crazy with this money you can do TR A320. 2 years ago a friend of mine did pay 7.000 € for metroliner CR.
