Bonus Aviation CPL/IR
Hi,
I’m looking to do a MEP/CPL/IR in the New Year. I’d be interested to hear any comments on Bonus Aviation at Cranfield.
Any previous students who can share experiences would be great.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards
CFG

Have a look at stapleford in essex - comes highly recommended from me. We did the IR flight test n Cranfield, and I remember thinking the fees for approaches and landings where incredible. I'm guessing that the fees are included in the course cost- something to double check.

VJW - the approach fee's are NOT included and the quoted £400-£500 is well short of the actual cost of £1500 that it really will cost (I have the invoices)
Also not included - fuel surcharge , MEP test fee , MEP instructor test fee , CPL approach fee's and IR approach fee's ALSO when you test you are charged the FULL cost of aircraft hire including instructor fee's just to add salt to the CAA £762 test fee !
The £16'200 is a great price , but factor in £18'000 - £19'000 which is the real cost with all the above !
