Canada PPL to JAA??

So, long story short, I'm in the Canadian military for a few years, in which time I plan on getting my Canadian (TC) PPL and doing some hour building, as well as saving up so I can do my ATPL in Europe (I'm a British citizen too). Basically what I want to know is would my TC PPL + hour building be accepted in JAA states so I can start on my CPL, etc. or should I just wait until I get over there to start it all?

Cheers

An ICAO PPL counts as entry for the ATPLs
So you could start distance learning while you our hour building

Also compare full commercial price in Canada since you are there a convesion of the higher CPL licence is then possible

How would converting a CPL from TC to JAA work exactly, and would it be more cost effective??
