Southwest UK - Bournemouth you can fly PA-28 for 110Ģ or Robin for Ģ80. Weather is also relatively good compared to the north.

Have a look at Big red Kite.

They have a 152 or PA28 that you can rent and just pay for fuel & parking. Take it away and fly to the good weather!

Fly In Spain in Jerez, Spain has good prices. I hear they can be busy because lots of people renting/training on a limited number of planes so you have to schedule yourself when you can. They arenīt a flying academy, so if you call and no answer, itīs because the flying instructors (who answer the phone) are out flying.

You can do a time building in Latvia's Avioservice. From 80Eur/h (all inclusive price). Check with Pilot School | Pilot Training | Pilot Learning | Flight school | Flight Learning .

By the way, now they offer the across Europe flights. Two pilots-timebuilders and safety pilot. Flight from Riga (RIX) to Barcelona, Sabadell (LELL). Aircraft- Beechcraft C23 Sundowner. Price - 150Eur/h for PIC time.

Stapleford to you can get C172 for around Ģ77, and I think the PA 28 for Ģ127 if you buy block hours + no landing fee at Stapleford. Few Norwegians and Swedish current there doing their CPL/MEIR.

Also good for your CPL/MEIR, I am currently doing my IR there.

Og jeg er fra Norge, men bosatt i England. Hej daa!

Fly In Spain

Just one thing about these guys, they will look for money up front from you if you want to rent. I wanted to do a similiar thing last winter as the Stockholm weather was killing me. But these cats wanted 700 Euro up front, just for rental.

Why have you ruled out the USA?

I am in exactly the same position as you and need 25-30 hours before the MEP. I am hopefully going to Chandler Air Services in Arizona next month if the paperwork comes through.

Plus I will get to fly to Vegas and brush up my poker skills whilst im there

Summer is coming!

If you don't mind coming a lot further South you should seriously consider New Zealand. The lifestyle down here is excellent and the environment is great for flying, especially as it's now spring so the weather will be good for the next 6 months. Living costs are cheap and the cost of renting a C172 is about NZD 220 per hr (EUR 120)
You will have to go through a very brief and cheap process to convert your JAA PPL but it is really no problem.
I recommend Nelson Aviation College in the South Island for the most scenic flying and really friendly and professional people, or if you want to be in Auckland then North Shore Aero Club are also excellent.

Ahh
Great..

Ok get this
You have what?
1780 posts?
Do you really think i register here to waste someones time?
I'm on other forums (non flight related) where i have over 10000 posts and i though you learn with time to be polite and have patience with newcomers.
And what is so wrong about what i said?
I said Europe, what your quoting is all in Europe.
Minus the last post about the west indies..
Which i posted to open up for more tips from members.
As it was going slow given i started with a whole continent ( still thanx to the members who gave me hints, I'm in contact with those flight clubs )

So if you do NOT have anything constructive to come with.. or have the knowledge of what is included in Europe.
PLEASE do ME a favor and skip clicking this thread.

Read Poeliīs post.

And as you believe i want to waste other peoples time by registering, posting, asking and dealing with you.
Which is a lot more time wasted for ME..
When anyone sane knows that most people value their own time more than others.
Your theory is failed.

And as this is a waste of time for you.

Enjoy rest of the forum.

Thank you for time

Ciao

PS
I'm sorry guys if i wasn't clear enough.

Essentially i need 25-30h before IR/ME..Weather sucks in Sweden.
I need somewhere to go where weather is better and i can get it done fast.
I'm up for anything as long as my JAA PPL is valid there.
