IR Reval - BE76 Conington
Has anybody used the BE76 at Conington flying club for an IR revalidation / MEP renewal. Any thoughts or experiences?

Did my MEIR renewal there a couple of years ago.
The Duchess was a pleasure to fly (apart from the RBI which had a lot of lag!) and much more forgiving than the Seneca used for my initial. Also, the rates made an hour+ drive to Conington well worth while.
There may be a few practicalities to overcome though depending on how urgent your need is & how current you are...
They usually only have 1 Multi instructor who works weekends only & tends to be booked up a few weeks ahead.
Also, they don't have their own examiner so you'll need to organise one yourself (I used a great guy at Leicester). It's much easier if your Multi is current so that you can fly over to meet them!
Of course 2 years is a long time and any or all of that may have changed, so recommend you give them a call & see what the current situation is.
Mine's due again too - perhaps I should follow my own advice
