Cirrus and CPL Training - Australia

Hi Guys,

Anyone know the ruling on Cpl Training and Flight test in a Cirrus SR20?

Yes it is CSU, however its fully automatic! Can this aircraft be used?

If so, are there any flight schools in Victoria with a Cirrus on their AOC?

Any information would be great!

Im not sure if this helps much but im in the uk doing my ppl in a cirrus sr20.

Only done four hours but so far its great. I prefer it to cessna but thats just my thoughts , im sure there is many people who disagree .

In Oz, the endorsement is not CSU but "Manual Propeller Pitch Control", which rules out "auto" CSUs like the SR20.

I know several people that have done their CPL test in either a SR22 or SR20 in Aus.
