Just as an aside....
I do hope that those of you on this thread who are quoting prices and intentions of doing TRs that you actually have a job to go to when it is done.
Please, please, please! No matter how much money you have to spare, do not buy a TR until you have a job.
Horror story for you:
Guy goes out and buys a 737 TR and 200 hours on type in the hopes that he gets a job with all this new "experience on type".
Finishes TR, goes home and sure enough the phone rings with a guaranteed job, ready to roll in eight weeks......on an A320.
Trust me, it hurts...you'll kick yourself....for hours.
Do not buy a TR. You are putting the cart before the horse.
