Training Overseas (Non-Europe or US)

I am currently working an IT contract in Europe for the US military. If I get laid off at our contract rebid I want to go some where for doing a intense Commercial Flight Training. A girl on a backpacking trip told me recently that South Africa was a good place to do it.

I don't want to waste my time I am American and want to go some where that could lead to licenses or certificates recognized by the FAA.

Hi,

All ICAO member licenses are recognized by the FAA .But if you want something that can be easily converted to FAA, take Canadian pilot
license.

South Africa, Philippines and other Asian countries have flight schools you can attend, check at www.bestaviation.net
