IFR rental in Washington DC area

Looking for a good place in Washington DC area to rent an IFR-certified single-engine plane for 6-7 days. Any experiences/ suggestions?

Is the FAA course for VFR flight only in the ADIZ? Looks like the poster is IFR flight. Not a bad idea to get it done anyway.

no VFR in Washington DC

According to FAA the easiest way is to treat Washington DZ as a non-fly zone for VFR (with exeptions). However it still seems to be quite hard to get a plane rented in this area...

Washington DC Rental

The issue is not the FAA - course - it is really easy going and the message is simple. The issue for me is to find a place to rent a plane for one week there - obviously, they used not to answer to emails, or a perspective of somebody from Europe coming and willing to take their plane for one week is above the limits... It is a strange experience, as I have rented planes in the USA many times before, bit this seems to be a case in DC area...Wow... Probably they simply do not want to earn money but wait for another social plan from their new president, good-night America...
