Unable to attend CAA ATPL exams

Hi Folks,

I registered for some ATPL exams for April but a last minute change in my schedule will prevent me from attending. I am planning to contact the CAA but I would like to know if some of you had to face the same situation and how flexible are they in rescheduling exams? Or should I just say bye bye to my examination fees?

Thanks

They are very flexible provided you inform them early enough.

You can cancel your exam booking at any time until 5 working days before the start of the exam week. There is of course a fee (of about £30) for doing so.

I suggest that you send them an e-mail today and follow it up with a telephone call tomorrow morning.

With the CAA it is always best to do these things twice!
