PreMed to Life Flight?

I am a 21 year old college student in the process of applying to medical school but have come to the realization that maybe I would be happier with a career in aviation. I have been thinking about EMS life flight as a possible goal.

Any and all opinions welcome.

I should also add that I have considered utilizing the national guard for training to help with the cost of building my experience.
