Any experience with ATP flight schools in the US?
Long story short. 28 year old considering a career change.
Thinking about going to one of the ATP locations to train while I wait out a one year residency requirement in California to attend school for a Bachelors degree.
I'm thinking I could instruct during that time to make a little income and build hours. Does anyone have any input on ATP as a flight training organization?
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

I have not gone there myself, but had friends who did and I trained students who came from there.
My last impression of the place, from a few years back, is that it was an efficient organization that delivers what it promises. It is a factory though, and do not expect to get to experience anything outside of the syllabus.
I would not hesitate to recommend the place.
