BCFT - Jetline
Hi
I've been looking at this course more and more recently and I've read what I could find on here about the place and what people think of it. One thing that has stuck out in a few posts is the quality of the flight training, whilst none have said that it is bad some have suggested that it is not on a par with the ground training phase.
I was hoping that someone could perhaps shed some light on this for me, or maybe give an broader picture of the place at the moment. Or perhaps shed some light on their pass rates for both the ground and flying phases.

Did the Jetline course at BCFT. No regrets at all. Very honest bunch of people with a lot of very experienced instructors( both groundschool and flight training)
Got a start on a 737 last november.
They did exactly what it said on the tin.

I have been searching for a while on ATPL full time course both on BCFT and Cabair.i did search on this but still would like to get updated info.if sumone can just simply give me idea how good their full time course are..??I am from Italy.,so if anyone can advice me even other schools or structures.I really appreciate and thanks in advance.

I would highly recommend bcft. A very relaxed atmosphere with experienced instructors who know how to get the best out of you.
Having done PPL elsewhere, and good friends who had done their training elsewhere, I think bcft have definately got it right.

Im midway through the jetline course. Did my PPL with BCFT, did the ground school, did my multi and am now doing my CPL with them.
They are as stated a very down to earth bunch. The quality of training is brilliant both in the ground school department and in the flying department. Both have very experienced sets of instructors although Phills air law lectures can send you to sleep but it would be hard for anyone to make air law interesting.
If your serious about persueing an ATPL and if I were about to choose where to spend my money again I would have no qualms with choosing BCFT again.
As Dan said they do what they say on the tin there arent many if any hidden costs with BCFT, if you can get everything done on min time you can get your Frozen atpl on budget with them.
Any questions feel free to ask.

See this has got me thinking,
I did my PPL in bournemouth, but i live in London,
was thinking of going to stapleford to finish off my training, but i have flown all around the south coast, i know the area off the back of my hand,
Is there alot in BCFT compared to stapleford?

I too have been looking at this. I was wondering if people could tell me how much all their extras came to e.g headsets, anything extra needed for groundschool (was there anything else apart from paper etc that you needed to buy) etc. Also i have seen pictures of the place where some people are wearing uniform and other are not. Why is this? Does it have any significance.

CAA costs are extra and own headset are extra cost but are not mandatory as they can be loaned from the school.
Uniform is at students discretion.
Broschure lists all the costs.

I visited lots of places before deciding on where to train, and opted for BCFT for the ground school. I was pleased that I had done the research and it was time and effort well spent.
During the 6 months of ground school I used the time to get a feel for the flying side (spoke to students, chatted to instructors and made quiet observations), and in my opinion it fell short of my expectations. To ensure I made the right decision, I then spent another few days visiting various schools to see where I wanted to spend my hard earned cash on CPL and IR and opted to go elsewhere.
What you need to remember though is that things can change very quickly, instructors (both ground and flying) come and go so the best thing you can do is visit as many places as you can to help you make your decision.
