Question ATP exceptions?

Just wondering if anyone has heard of someone getting an age exception for an ATP from the FSDO. I know the regs say 23 years of age.

No it is not possible for an FAA ATP. If you want an ATPL at 21, look to other countries...Maybe Canada or UK.

Thanks. I didn't think so, but it was worth a shot.

Actually, you can still take the actual flight checkride after you've passed the written. However, you will just get a letter stating that you have passed the ATP checkride. On your 23rd B-day, you just take the letter to the FSDO and they will give you a temp certificate. That's what happened to me - I was also 21 at the time.
